Fulton County, GDC, BOP, and ICE
Fulton County inmate records follow the custody system, not the person's home address or arrest city. A person booked after a local arrest starts in the county jail pipeline. If convicted and sentenced to a Georgia prison term, the person moves to GDC custody and should be searched in the state offender query. Federal criminal custody routes through BOP, while immigration detention routes through ICE. FCI Atlanta sits in Fulton County, but it is not part of the Fulton sheriff roster.

The Fulton Co. Sheriff's Office GA app also advertises jail inmate roster search, sex-offender search, public-safety news, tips, and contact tools. Fulton County Booking and Intake
Fulton County's official jail page says arrested people are first transported to the Main Jail for property intake, medical screening, fingerprinting, photographing, and a warrants check. Processing time can change based on the number of arrestees and the availability of state or national database information. The booking record begins inside that intake flow, but a new name may not appear in the public roster right away. A newly booked person may also bond out before a full public search result is easy to find.
For arrestees who do not bond out, Fulton says first appearance before a judge routinely occurs within 24 hours after arrest. Weekend arrests appear before a judge on Monday. The judge advises the person of charges and may address bond. In misdemeanor cases, the judge may accept a plea and release the person on recognizance or time served. In felony cases, bond can be raised or lowered, and supervised ROR screening can delay release.
